Muster Ceremony and Dinner
The Midland Club tends to hold the Permian Basin area's only Muster Ceremony and we welcome any and all Aggies from in-town or away from home who would care to join us in remembering our fallen comrades and reliving some of the good times we had while at school.
Annual Golf Tournament
Another one of our major fundraisers is the Annual Golf Tournament. Usually held on a weekend in August or September, it is a Four-Man Scramble format and is a lot of fun to play whether you are the "A" Player or the "D" player. Especially if you are the "D" Player. Keep checking back with the site to look for developing information. As with any other of our club function we are always looking for help with sponsorships and/or volunteers.
The 2009 Midland A&M Club Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, August 14, 2009 at Hogan Park Golf Course. The purpose of the tournament is to raise money for our local scholarship program. This year the format will be a total of the two net low balls of the foursome. Each individual will play their own ball and his handicap will be used to determine on which holes he will receive strokes. Please note the change in location and format from last year. Lunch and registration will be from 11:00 – 12:30. Shotgun start at 1:00 PM.
Entry fees for a four member team are $300.00. Please complete the attached entry form for each foursome and return it with your check to the Midland A&M Club no later than Friday, July 31, 2009. Each player will receive a monogrammed golf shirt at registration so please indicate your shirt size on your entry form.
